Rainforest Alliance Headquarters

The objective for this project was to create an office with the particular requirements for the non-profit Rainforest Alliance, which revolved around normal work and fundrasing.

Throughout the space there are many nods to nature including: a greenhouse type ceiling to invoke the feeling of being under a canopy of trees, a green wall behind the reception desk, grass seating in the desk area, and three different types of bark wallpaper. There was also an exploration of the rich South American artwork and color which can be seen all over the space.

Upon entry to the space you are met with a large bark sculpture which you must walk through to get to reception. This was put in place to make visitors stop and realize the maze they must navigate in order to reach sustainability.
